Jimmy and the folks at S&P have always been knowledgeable and give great service. On my most recent order, I needed a few parts shipped 2-day air in time for my tranny install today. Becky (operations manager) at S&P made sure my order went in promptly and made it to UPS in plenty of time.
Unfortunately, UPS bollixed it up. They even accused S&P of giving them the box a day late, but Becky had the evidence to show otherwise.
Still, UPS "rescheduled" my 2-day package to arrive in 3 days instead of 2. Becky called five people, and got assurance it would show up on time -- which it didn't. Becky called a few more times last night, then called them at
3:15 AM today (yes, you read that correctly) to bug them again.
UPS put the box on a truck at 5 AM this morning... but still fuxored it, and missed my deadline.
Still, I gotta give
major kudos to Becky for trying so hard to light a fire under the bunglers at UPS. That level of customer service really gets my attention. Thanks, Jimmy and Becky!
