Well, I am pretty pissed off.
Couple weeks ago, i was reading up on something Marion wrote about with the brake switch wires running underneath the clutch pedal, and messing the wires up. Well ended up getting some time to fix this, and move it above the clutch pedal and out of the way.

Well as i was down there, I was just looking at my clutch linkage, because my clutch has been messing up, and as of what i THOUGHT was a bent pressure plate, of the way it was acting. Which is why i ordered a brand new clutch.

Well as i was looking. The clutch linkage comes through the firewall and hooks on to the clutch pedal through a ball and socket ordeal.

Well a couple weeks ago, i was in traffic, and had the clutch pedal pressed in, and heard a pop, and felt it through the clutch pedal. But the clutch felt fine. and thought nothing of it.

Soon after, is when i started noticing the clutch acting up.

As i was under the car, and looking at the linkage. The ball and socket actually came undone. and the linkage was still "hooked" onto the ball. But was securly hooked in. And had some play into it. Hence the "acting up" of the clutch.

I am just extremely lucky the whole linkage did not come off the pedal and me have no clutch at all!!!!

Well took it for a test ride. and everything is a O.K

40k miles on the car. Raced ALOT at track and street. And still no slipping or anything. But mise well go ahead and put the new clutch in since i got it.

Theres my long story. Lol
