let us know if that fixed your problem. now i use to have a big spike problem like you did on my 60 trim, but i had the lines backwards on my boost controller and it was a manual but the concept is the same you can adjust yours inside the car i can't. i did eventually figure out that if i run a manual boost controller one line from the nipple from the turbo to my boost controller and then the one to the wastegate. i connected it to the bottom nipple on the wastegate. i had a tial wastegate im not sure if turbonetics has two nipples on it. i ran 18 pounds no problem no spike no nothing. or you can buy a upgraded spring instead of the 9lb spring you can get a 15lb spring and run about 13-17lbs of boost just off of your wastegate w/o a boost controller.
