Is it the old school one with the 5 knobs or the one that's silver/blue with buttons instead of a dial? If the latter, then I'm using the same thing and it works perfectly. Double check your connections on your tach adapter, provided you're using the right one (part # 8913) and let us know what you come up with. Also, when the safc's are set to 6 cylinder mode they will not give you the propper rpm readings or throttle position come to think of it...check that out too. Make sure it's set to 4 cylinder mode not 6
