The only thing I've done to modify the tb was change the idle screw and cut the spring a bit so that it would clear the tranny b/c that was hitting it and also preventing anything else from lining up. If that fixes his problem let me know, i'll go out and get one, I just haven't been thinking recently, I'm so pissed about my dtec evena fter trying to fix it yetserday that I haven't put any thought into the tb, but let me know

I will let you know. Didn't even read or know aaronneon posted some information on this. This was something I concluded when I ran a boost leak test on one. First time I didn't want to mess with it at all. For his second boost leak test he asked if I would look into it. So I took the TPS off, cleaned out and junk that was in it and that's how I concluded its the o-ring not properly sealing. I will let you know how it goes. I may have to buy a few of these o-rings and keep them in stock.

If the Dtec keeps giving you problems I say just get rid of it and go with a SAFC. Apexi is proven, failure ratings are slim. Dtec's as much as I love the tuning points and the adjustability I wouldn't be able to take its failure numbers. I see it as not worth the headache... especially for a device that TurboXS should have corrected the problems by now instead of sending people buffer boards when they fail. They should replace the whole unit.
