Tim,

I do think the 70mm is a bit overkill for your plans. The ported stocker will do fine. a 60mm aftermarket willl do better and a 70 mm will do even better probably but at a cost of price and possible headaches. I've heard a lot of "after putting the tb in I felt an extra 10whp!" but have yet to experience or see that for myself, so I think that extra money is best directed somewhere else especially in the situation you are in with the motor and all. IMO the 70mm is better for someone who is flowing tons of air (big turbo) and needs all the help in preventing bottleneck restrictions that he can. Also J-srt4 If I remember correctly had the kinetic 60mm tb with his setup, so you could shoot him a pm if you want. Keep in mind this is my opinion. Also as far as the porting. Remember that the mindset "whoever ports the biggest hole wins" doesn't always mean its the best product, not saying you are like that but there are plenty of people who think the biggest/shiniest is the best. So keep that in mind when you're looking for someone to port.
