you should have the gp lower than what boost you want, so if your looking for 15psi the gp should be a couple below(normally so it doesnt spike), your sensitivity may be low and the combonation of the 2 may be causing the issue
basically you set the gp low and work up till it spikes too much, then fine tune w/ sensativity
Ok, question. I have an original eBoost, rather than an eBoost2. Not sure if they're different, but on mine the boost and gate pressure are a number between 1 and 99, not directly related to psi or kpa or such.
Is yours the same? If so, then the gate pressure should be set to a number close to the boost, correct? i.e. - if trying to hold 20 psi, my boost number is ~50. Should the gate pressure be the same?
On my eboost 2, the 1-99 number is the boost and 50 should be spiking about 19.As stated above the gate pressure is raised until there is a spike higher than desired and then lowered until the correct spike is obtained.Then the gate pressure is right.But the sensitivity has alot to do with the way that the boost comes on too,If it is to low it takes to long to achieve desired boost, to high and it will spike too much. That boost controller is really advanced it just takes a long time and alot of tuning to get it right.
