No nothing like that its all good. I just always thought one person's .cal map really never helped anyone else directly, at least without a bit of rework anyway. Since an individual .cal map is NEVER interchangable between two vehicles, why be super secret about it?

I do not agree with this much to be honest.

Here is my reasons behind it, as Jay stated...most of the cals we see posted are pretty poopy. To many of you, this is a hobby. To many of us, its how we make a living. Im all about helping everyone I can, but Im not about teaching people how not to come to me. Call me selfish I guess, but last time I checked...my plumber didnt want to tell me that I could rent a snake and than tought me how to use it for free.

Also there is more than one way to skin a cat. You and I could take a car and tune it TOTALLY different and still get the basic same results. Jay knows exactly what Im talking about when I say that. I have seen some pretty good running cars with some very odd things in their Cals. Thats not to say they couldnt run better, but I have seen many different ways to go about tuning an EMS.

Lol BUT BUT BUT.. we all bought the 'snake' =]

Heres a thought tho we needed to see a log and a snap shot of the 'boost'/'adv boost' settings.. which honestly are not that tell tale(not the money maker here .. the dyno time and getting it 'perfected' and knowing it was done right by a professional is where you bring home the bacon, Aaron) =]. We didnt need to see the fuel or spark or any of that nonsense. But a screen shot woulda kicked ass and got him an answer quite quickly. Perhaps asking for the entire cal file wasnt right, perhaps we can, in the cases where people want to keep thier cals 'secret' can do so, ask for a post with a screen shot of relevant sections of the config that are not, in and of themselves, too tell tale.

just a thought =]
