i would find someone with stock motor mounts and put them in. then see if the popping noise goes away. swap out one at a time. or it could be something with your handling. like bad bushings on control arms or roll bar we would have to get under it and look at it. as for the smell could be dead animal or your burning something

Stock turbo/ 3'cai, 3"O2 housing, 3"DP, AGP WGA, mild port head w/3angle valve job w/crane springs retainers,2.0 cams w/fidanza gears, ED hard pipes, hks bov, ported 55mm tb. thats just the begining
