they sure charge like it is. was also told its about a 23 1/2 hour job. i didnt see that service listed on srt hookups was gonna see if you and dan wanted to tackle it. i have a quote from my brother in law as to what he would charge me for his guy to do it on the side. he knows his stuff, just wanted some one that really knows about our cars.

You take parts off that will be in the way. Remove harness's off the sensors and what not. Move objects that are in the way. Should be good to go.

I've yanked a motor and transmission together out of a DSM and it only took a few hours. Dropped the another motor in the same day and tackled the tranny the next day. It was my dad's idea to not put it back the same way we took it out causing it to take longer. I did most of the work as far as removing parts and clearing everything. Now I know an SRT-4 isn't a DSM but its almost the same concept for most FWD cars as far as removing the motor with the exception of some that are dropped from the bottom.

As far as prices. I don't have a garage so I don't have an engine hoist nor stand. If I had a garage I would have had those two already. Also I don't want to get into doing this type of work for everyone.
