I'll talk to Jay and see what he thinks about the pin crimping. If he thinks its easy enough (or you feel comfortable in your ability to crimp and solder some pins and insert them into a connector) then that will be the cleanest way to go. You'll end up with the current wiring you have just get a few inches shorter and a nice clean termination into the new connector on the Toybox 2.0.

Otherwise, we can send out a unit with a short wiring harness that you can splice in and heat shrink / tape.
