Ok read through all these threads and saw one guy ask a retorical question I guess about fitting a 235/45/17 tire on a 17x7 rim. can this be done without hurting handling capabilities much? I mostly race straightline, but do enjoy the every once in awhile spirited drive through the curving country roads.

I have rims with a 45 offset, no clearance issues on the calipers and I have BC coilovers so no perches to worry about rubbing.

I am looking at going with either the BFG KDW2's or the Goodyear F1 GS-D3 tires on these 17x7 rims. I would like to get as wide of a tire as possible with keeping handling issue to a minimum. I know a 225 will fit no problem but if I can get the 235 on there without an issue I would rather do that.

Thanks guys.
