Our valve is not made by clippard, our valve is 430F stanless steel. The valve that Aquamist is experimenting with is a very cheap valve made by clippard for use in air application. Its designed with CRS (cold rolled steel, commonly refered to as "junk steel"). It has great magnetic properties, but poor corrosion resistance. Clippard puts a .004 coating of Nickel, but obviously over time and with any abrasion that will wear thin and you will see corrosion.
That manifold that you see (the "aluminum" has a thick coating of Nickel to prevent corrosion of methanol and he is running 100% water anyway).
Let me know if that satisfies your audit.
