Sorry I didn't specify, but I would be trying the hi-res code to control the 1000cc injectors.
What I'm understanding is:
lo-res MS2 with v2.2 board = lo Z is OK
hi-res MS2 with v2.2 board = lo Z needs resistor pack or flyback board
