Come on now Walt.
At that point the turbo becomes the restriction.
I figured the exhaust side is a big restriction atleast on my setup. But maybe not. 440hp may be the limit.
The scroll area on the S3 is listed at 10cm2 which is about as big as it gets for that size turbo. A TD06HR wheel would be the upgrade but what kind of affect would remain to be seen. I'm not even sure they make a reverse rotation wheel that size?
It makes no sense to go any bigger of a wheel other than the 44lb. You can go 10s with this turbo. If you want to go faster....its time to step it up [plain and simple]
Sorry I should clarify, bigger turbine wheel.
A TD06 turbine wheel mated to a 49lb compressor wheel (50trim) would be very interesting
I will be recieving something from Forced Performance that I think is very close to what you stated above.

Their new evogreen turbo's wheels in an S3 housing. Two things I'm not 100% sure on. They list 2 diff flow numbers for their billet compressor wheel. One area on their website they say 47lbs. a min and somewhere else it says 700cfm. I did the math and that calculates to 49lbs. a min. That and they don't say exactly what turbine wheel they use. Just how many blades it has and that it is larger in diameter than the stock one. I'll let everyone know how it does when I receive it.
It's a 47lb wheel. Highest dyno on an evo was 470 i believe.
