just to clarify, 25 lb. spike with 16lb. hold......mh race slicks, and no I didn't get my 12 like I wanted due to an complete burnt clutch....would have had a new clutch installed earlier in the week, but it fell through and since I had already invested in a hotel room and tickets, I figured I'd go ahead and finish off the stock clutch.....I did run a 13.000 at 105mph today with a major slip in every shift......I'm getting a spec stage 3 clutch installed this week and should be back to bristol in about a month...............so I should be well into the 12s with a few more upgrades I've got to do........though with the problems I had this weekend, I still pulled the fastest and best time of the srt-4s at the event
i would hope that you at least have a stock ported turbo if you are spikeing that high on the stock turbo your blowing so much hot air your pulling timing you might get you initial tq. boost from that but it will hurt ya in many ways the highest spike on the stocker should be 22 and then your still gonna pull timing from it blowing to much hot air W/I really helps if your gonna push the stocker to the limits
yeah, it usually doesn't spike 25 that much, I had actually got it to the point with the agp wga to a 21-22 lb spike but for some odd reason it kept spiking 25 lbs so I just said fuck it and made the runs then turned it back down for the drive home..........waiting on the clutch now so I can get it in, break it in, and head back to street fights, sucks though I gotta use the et streets instead of the mh slicks.......but all in all, 13.000 with basically no clutch there is alright with me.........
they wont let you use slicks at street fights?

yup.......its dumb in my opinion, but thats why I got the et streets and the mh slicks for........now on street nights at rockingham u can run anything u want
