Ticking sound can be from a simple thing as you injectors to a spun rod bearing. Need more info to try to help you out.
whenever the car is warmed up you can hear a ticking whenever the throttle is applied alittle bit. The sound gets drowned out above 3000rpms but before that it's clear. Ummmmmm. It doesn't do it on cold starts and it's annoying lol
