Long story short, Judge Majeed doesn't do traffic anymore. Judge Clarke handles traffic now. She didn't want to hear anything other than "Guilty," "Not Guilty," or "No Contest." Since I wanted to take care of business and get back to work, I plead "No Contest," was found guilty, fined $311, and hit with 3 points.
Strange thing - second to the DA, I was the best dressed in the place. The judge was was dismissing criminal (Misdemeanor) charges from the various,
ahem miscreants, in the court who had no or minimal priors.
Lesson: show up for traffic court looking like trash, and get charges thrown out!!!
