No, we're still waiting on the machine assembled boards. The board production and assembly takes a long time plus the parts are coming from the Philippines.
Since there are very significant tooling and NRE charges, we are not going to be able to make two different hardware versions. So, the PC interface hardware is going to be there no matter what. We may think about making a version with the interface disabled in software, but it would be kind of difficult. We'd have to maintain different sets of programmed units, and offer an upgrade path for people who buy it without the interface enabled and eventually want to enable it.
All of that adds complexity, so we felt it would be easier to just include it with all the units, just in case you want to use it later.
