Where would I hook up direct power to see if the pump is working?

The pump will not turn on until you are under boost.

Hook the red wire to your switched ignition, the black to a ground, put your boost line over the port. When you hit the setting (from us its 10 psi) the system will start.

To "test" the system take your key tot he car turn to the ON position. On the boost switch there are 3 ports, the bottom port is unused. Take the wire off the middle port and connect to the bottom, when you do that the system will start. Once you did that test move it back to the middle port.

CM.

That's what I did, move the wire from the middle to the bottom and it doesn't spray or anything. What else can I check?

The top port on the boost switch should have the fuse/fuse holder. Make sure there is a fuse in it. Maybe yours did not have a fuse.

The middle port should have the red wire that comes off the side of the pump, the bottom port should have nothing. You need to confirm the wiring.

It would not be likely that the hardware is bad.

Wiring is good. I checked fuse earlier, it was blown, for some reason, got a new one, it's good, but still nothing. What can it be?

If the fuse was blown, it had to happen during installation. I dont know if the fuse you replaced it with is good or not or if something got messed up when that fuse blew.

Use a voltmeter and see if power is getting past the fuse you replaced it with, My guess is the key leads there.
