You don't have to cut the dash for this one but you are drilling a hole in it anyway so really not saving the dash anyway. The gauge pod also looks like it will be at a different angle than the stock pod. I guess this would be a little bit quicker than the pdf one that has been used before. You have any pictures of the pod with a gauge installed? Here is the link to the other one also courtesy of Speed and Power Development extra gauge pod
