my clutch just started slipping, just barely. I put race gas in it the other day, going down the road about 65mph ill punch it in fourth, and the rpms will overshoot about 1000 rpm on the boost spike, but not too much after that and slowly fall back down to the correct rpm. With hom off it doesnt do it. It also doesnt always slip, but im having a weird clunk noise, ive tried retorquing the motor mounts, aligned the motor the best i could, and its only getting worse. it makes me think the surface of the clutch is falling off or something? Im going with an ACT disk clutch and flywheel, but is this an adjustment issue that is slowly taking out the clutch? Im at 57800 miles, origional clutch, stage 2 since it came out. Every now and then first or reverse is hard to get into gear, but shifing into second third fourth then back to first makes it easy as shit to get into gear. any ideas? thought i would also add, this clunk is like, your reversing out of a parking spot, about 4 or 5mph and put the clutch in right as you get off the gas its just like vrrrr.... clunk. Same thing with first gear, but only low speeds, at regular speeds its fine. Every now and then shifting back into first at a light when rolling slightly it will have a little half second grind, real light, and i can feel it slotting into the gear.
