just go with coilovers. it's really much better at controlling the movement of the car than strut/spring combos, unless you get more expensive and go with custom valved konis or something. They also will only be a couple hundred more than the off the shelf strut/spring combos and will allow you to change spring rates, vehicle height (think corner weighting), and more easily adjust camber angles.
