I don't see any reason to keep the white line if you remove the red line. Reason being is they both go to the same solenoid which leads me to believe the PCM is cycling the solenoid to let the TIP see atmospheric pressure for reference purposes. If the red line is gone the TIP will just see atmospheric pressure all the time, so what is the purpose of keeping the white line going to it?


There isnt one. I just always did back in the day.
