You are talking about 16 parker stainless steel compression fittings along with the hose. These retail at most places from $8 to $10 each.

The quick disconnect fittings that come with the standard kit are alot less expensive (though high end, all brass).

I hope that makes some sense as to the cost to upgrade to stainless. On kits that use a single nozzle its $100 to upgrade to stainless because there is alot less fittings.

Also, just keep in mind that you have to choose the options you like that fit your budget. Some customers just choose everything (Stainless, directport, trunk mount, Commander) and end up spending $1300+, while others just get the varicool stage II with no upgrades. I recommend that if the stainless is not in your budget go for the nylon with quick disconnects, the connectors are very nice and its alot easier to install than stainless.

Oh, I see. I was planing on getting the stainless upgrade since I'm saving so much in Jeff's sale anyway. So it comes with the an fittings that connect to the nozzles and block, meaning that the stainless lines are meant to be run from the block to the injectors, or I would have to buy those also? Sorry, I'm getting confused.
