But what I did get from him was that he sent the turbo to someone in NC( near me and its not a DCR mod) and they put in a bigger wheel and shaft upgrade <-- if I remember corectly. And also port work as well. I was impressed with the runs PCT01 was making.
If you think about it, what is being done is what MOPAR would have done if it wasn't for the bean counters, when they developed the upgrade.
In reality, making the Stage 3 faster seems to come in really small steps. Do you know what ptc01 was running before these mods? He was running 12.1's at 116-117. Not only did he replace the wheel and get the port job, but he added water injection as well,and possibly even some kind of engine management. He also added carbon fiber hood and was talking of removing his passenger seat as well as the rear seats prior to running at the Nationals. So far I think he has a best of 11.95. Definately an improvement, but doesn't seem like much bang for the buck. I for one hope that it will be as easy as changing the wheel or getting the DCR mod done to pick up a few tenths. I just haven't seen anyone do it yet. But as soon as someone shows me the way, I'll be right there.
