I should also ask which product you would prefer. I am confident at this point that I can make either one work.
The transmission simulator fixes the problem, but will cost $215 + refundable core charge. (You have to mail in your block-off connector)
The code scrubber will cost $119 and have no core charge, but it only hides the problem.
The results on a scan tool are the same with either device.
