Ok. Here's the update on what's going on.

The new product name is probably going to be the "Automatic Transmission Code Scrubber (ATCS)". It works a bit different than the Automatic Transmission Simulator, and I will detail the differences in a new post. But, for now I will describe it as a device the removes error codes related to an automatic transmission (p0700 - p0899) from only vehicles that are an SRT-4.

It is very specific, and verifies the VIN number as an SRT-4 and only removes automatic transmission failure codes (p0700 - p0899). Other codes will pass through.

So, technically, it shouldn't do anything, since the SRT-4 was never offered with an automatic transmission....

Anyway, I've been up late every night for about 2 weeks writing code for the ATCS. The code is nearly complete and is working well.

My goal is to finish the code and testing on my car by Friday. That weekend I will get some real world verification on someone else's car. If that goes well, I will kick off the hardware order for 100 units that week.

Unfortunately, the hardware order will take about 4 weeks to come in. But, after that we just build and ship units.

So, we're targeting first shipments around March 15th.
