Problem continued
brought the car to dodge, they said that the removal of the cat (perrin TBE) caused the check engine light to go on. They said it had something to do with the 02 sensor etc. Then they said I had to pay 49.99 for a service charge because I removed the stock exhaust and because the code registered (P- something...43). He said by law he cant even work on the car because he could get a 10,000 dollar fine. I said well I guess you are getting that fine because you are charging me 50 bucks which means you had to have worked on the car. We argued for another 20 minutes or so. He wants me to put the stock exhaust back on then he will work on the car and then report to dodge I have the stock cat on (supposedly he is reporting I dont), he said an aftermarket cat will not be good enough. They finally waived the fee because I refused to pay it.
