there have been a few guys out there with stock WGA's who have been able to hold 13-14-15psi by redline, especially some S1 guys.
I think the ECU is designed to lower boost as rpm increases. Case in point, whenever I reset my ECU, for the first couple days my boost will consistently hold 13psi to redline, then after a couple days I'm back down to 11 by redline.
I bet if it was a hot day out and I reset my ECU I bet I could see 14 or 15psi by redline. The computer is lowering the boost, it's not just the stock WGA being super weak.
Some guys do get it consistently though which begs the question, what is different about their conditions that their ECU is happy holding that boost all the way up? I know that I"m at a disadvantage just being in SoCal and only having 91 octane.
Someone should make a poll... find out which guys stock WGA's are holding high numbers to redline, 13psi or more, and what area they live in, what weather they have or what octane fuel they have. See if there is a correlation, maybe all the guys who only hold 11psi by redline live in really cold climates or get only crappy 91 so the ECU has to pull the boost at high rpm like that.
