You can use an octane booster if it says it won't mess up catalytic converter or sensors (Some state it right on the label).
Also, no problem at the track. Most tracks have a filling station where you can get high octane. Go to the track with 1/8 tank, throw in two gallons of 100 octane unleaded when you arrive, and you should be all set.
