Who installed your Fuel Pump for you (the one inside the canister, inside the fuel tank)? Are you sure they stuck a walbro 255 lph on there? or just used the stock one..
If you are still using the stock fuel pump and the injector duty goes up, your fuel pressure will drop and you'll run into the problem you are getting now.

this would be very easy to tell if watching a FP gauge as pressure would drop fast at top end
